Located in Palitana, Manav Parivar Trust is dedicated to serving individuals with mental disabilities. Our primary goal is to ensure that our residents receive nutritious, clean, and delicious food. In this blog, we will explain how our food facilities operate and how society contributes to this noble cause.
Our Food System: Specially Designed for the Mentally Challenged
At Manav Parivar Trust, we provide three meals a day to over 350 mentally challenged individuals. Our meal schedule includes:
- Breakfast: Tea with snacks or farsan, providing an energetic start to the day.
- Lunch: A balanced and nutritious meal of vegetables, rotis, dal, and rice.
- Dinner: A light and easily digestible meal of vegetables, rotis, khichdi, and kadhi.
Additionally, food donations often include a sweet dish, making mealtime a moment of joy for our residents.
Food Donations: Community Support
We encourage individuals to participate in our mission through food donations. The donation amounts are fixed as follows:
- Breakfast: ₹5,000
- Lunch: ₹21,000
- Dinner: ₹15,000
- Full Day Meal: ₹31,000
These contributions help us provide nutritious meals to our 350+ residents, while maintaining quality and hygiene.
Transparency: Our Commitment
At Manav Parivar Trust, transparency is our top priority. We ensure this by:
- Live Streaming: Our food distribution process is broadcast live every day at noon and evening on our YouTube channel, “Manav Parivar Trust”.
- Donor Assurance: This initiative allows donors to witness how their contributions are being utilized.
Our Process: Ensuring Hygiene and Quality
We follow a strict process to maintain hygiene and food quality:
- Preparation: Meals are cooked in a clean and well-organized kitchen using fresh, locally sourced ingredients.
- Distribution: Our team ensures food is delivered to residents on time.
- Hygiene Standards: Our kitchen staff is trained in hygiene practices to keep food safe and healthy.
